Torquay Fire Brigade (TFB) members were overwhelmed by the generosity of the Surfcoast Longboarders (SL) who made a generous donation at their annual Winter Classic surfing event in August.  Funds raised will go towards purchasing a much needed replacement fire tanker.

Espresso To Go Franchisee Brad Walsh provided complimentary cappuccinos for the visiting firefighters and donated 50 cents from every coffee sold to their truck fund.  Since it was a wintry weekend, sales were brisk as surfers clad in wetsuits, towels, beanies and assorted woolly layers queued up for a much needed latte, hot chocolate or flat white.
